LoopCV is an auto-apply tool: you set your search once and it keeps applying while you get on with your day. If you are weighing it against something else, the useful question is not which tool claims the most interviews, but which one applies the way you want, to the jobs you actually want, at a price and volume that fit your search.
Below you’ll find what LoopCV does according to its own pages, what to look for in an alternative, and four alternatives described from their own pages, as checked in October 2026. We make Jobra and list it first; we have tried to describe every tool, ours included, with the same yardstick. Plans change often, so check each pricing page before you buy.
What LoopCV does
According to its home page, LoopCV finds matching jobs and “automatically applies on your behalf using AI”, or lets you check the matches first and approve them by hand. The same page says it applies in several ways, including form submissions on the applicant tracking systems that companies use, a browser extension, and automated emails to recruiters, with a one-click tool to find a recruiter’s email address. The home page also lists a LinkedIn Auto Apply browser extension and a job aggregator that finds “jobs from 20+ job boards and hidden career pages”. You can upload several CVs, and its CV builder can tailor a version for each job.
On price, LoopCV’s pricing page shows a free plan with “no credit card required” and a limited number of automated applications, and paid plans that “start from €9.99/month”, as listed in October 2026.
So LoopCV already covers a lot of ground, including a free entry point. People usually look elsewhere for one of four reasons: they want a cover letter written for each job, they want a different way of applying, they want more control over each send, or they search in a market the tool doesn’t focus on.
What to look for in an alternative
- How it applies. Does it autofill company forms, send emails, work inside job boards, or only fill fields while you press submit? This decides where your application lands.
- What it tailors. A resume per job, a cover letter per job, both, or neither? And on which plan?
- Control. Can you approve each application, or only switch the tool on and off?
- Limits. Daily or weekly caps, and whether the cap counts applications or “matches”.
- Price and billing. Monthly, weekly, yearly; is there a free tier.
- Markets. Whether the tool covers the countries and job boards where you are looking.
1. Jobra
Jobra is an AI job search agent for the US, the UK and Ireland (on jobra.app) and Italy (on jobra.it). It finds jobs that fit you, writes a resume and a cover letter for each one, and applies for you. It applies by email in your name — the sender shows as “Your Name via Jobra”, the letter is the email body, the CV is a PDF attachment — or through the company’s own form where it can. When a site needs an account or a captcha, the job becomes an “Apply yourself” card with the letter ready.
You choose between Automatic sending (jobs over your match threshold go out by themselves, 7 am to 9 pm, within your daily limit) and You approve what goes (nothing leaves without your swipe). Before each send it checks the CV has content, the address receives mail, the employer isn’t on your block list and the letter has no placeholder left.
Plans are monthly: Starter $29 (10 applications a day in total), Pro $49 (20 sent by Jobra plus 20 by you, with an interview simulator) and Max $99 (fair use up to 100 a day of each kind), the same numbers in £ and €. Where it is narrower than LoopCV: there is no free plan, the entry price is higher, and Jobra runs no automation inside LinkedIn. See the pricing page.
2. Simplify
Simplify splits the work in two. Copilot is a free browser extension that, its product page says, “autofills job applications on 100,000+ company career sites in one click”. It does not send anything for you: its help article tells you to review your answers and “click the employer’s final Submit button yourself”.
Autopilot is the paid part. It is part of Simplify+ and, per its help article, is offered only on supported postings: it “fills out and submits it without a review step”. Simplify’s features and pricing article lists Simplify+ on the web at $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 every three months, with 20 Autopilot credits a week (one per successfully submitted application) and AI resume tailoring and cover letters among its features. App Store prices can differ, it notes.
Simplify suits you if you are happy to press submit yourself and want strong, free autofill, with the option to pay for a limited number of hands-off submissions.
3. JobCopilot
JobCopilot says it applies only to “verified jobs on official company career pages” and autofills those applications for you (home page). Its pricing page lists two plans, Premium “from $0.93 per day” with up to 20 job matches a day and Elite “from $1.05 per day” with up to 50, available as weekly, monthly or quarterly plans; the page doesn’t show the period totals. Per-application resume tailoring is listed under Elite; cover letters come from a separate builder. Both plans include saving applications for review, AI mock interviews and other career tools. No free plan is shown.

4. LazyApply
LazyApply says it can apply to jobs “on platforms like Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and Ziprecruiter” with its Job GPT feature, which fills in applications from your information, and that it can send customized referral emails to employees at the companies you apply to (home page). Signing up requires a Gmail account.
Its pricing page lists three yearly plans in October 2026: Basic $99 a year (15 applications a day, one resume profile), Premium $149 (150 a day, five profiles) and Ultimate $999 (1,500 a day, 20 profiles). Its pages don’t claim per-job resume or cover letter tailoring. More in our LazyApply alternatives guide.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free alternative to LoopCV?
Simplify’s Copilot autofill extension is free, though you press submit yourself. LoopCV itself has a free plan. Jobra, JobCopilot (as shown on its pricing page) and LazyApply have no free plan.
Which LoopCV alternative writes a cover letter for each job?
Jobra writes one for every job on every plan, and it is the body of the application email. Simplify lists cover letters among its paid Simplify+ features. JobCopilot offers a separate cover letter builder.
Does Jobra work on LinkedIn like LoopCV’s extension?
No. Jobra runs no automation inside LinkedIn. It applies by email or through the company’s own application form.
Which alternative lets me approve each application?
Jobra’s “You approve what goes” mode sends nothing without your swipe. Simplify Copilot leaves the final submit to you. JobCopilot lets you save applications for review, and LoopCV lets you check matches by hand.
Is LoopCV available outside the US?
LoopCV’s pages don’t list countries; its prices are in euros and its site is offered in several languages. Check its pages for the job boards in your country.
