Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They remember preferences, keep you signed in and help the site work.

2. The cookies we use

Necessary cookies

Needed for the site to work: Supabase’s authentication cookies to keep you signed in, and jobra_consent (6 months), which remembers your choice in the cookie banner. They can’t be switched off.

Functional cookies

Remember your preferences, such as display settings. They make the site nicer to use but aren’t strictly necessary. They include jobra_site_hint (6 months), which remembers your choice in the box that offers Jobra’s other site (jobra.app or jobra.it) to visitors from another country, so it doesn’t come up again.

First-party measurement (no consent needed)

Two cookies of our own, never shared: jobra_vid (12 months) holds only a random ID that shows us at which sign-up step visitors stop; jobra_utm (30 days) remembers which campaign or link brought you, to know which channels bring sign-ups; if you come from a Google ad it also holds the ad click ID (gclid), used only for this internal measurement and never passed on. They contain no personal data.

Analytics cookies — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate statistics on visits and use of the site. It sets _ga and _ga_* (up to 24 months) only if you accept Analytics in the banner. Without consent Google gets no cookies: with Google’s consent mode it receives only anonymous signals, with no IDs, saying consent was refused.

Advertising cookies — only with your consent

Only if you accept Advertising in the banner:

  • the Meta pixel (Facebook/Instagram) measures how our campaigns perform: it records the pages visited and the sign-up steps (start, email entered, payment) and matches them with the ads you saw; it sets _fbp and _fbc (up to 3 months). Without consent the pixel isn’t loaded;
  • Google Ads shows you our ads again (remarketing) and measures which ads lead to a plan; it sets _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (up to 3 months) and Google’s advertising cookies.

When you sign up or pay, to measure our campaigns we send Meta and Google the event (sign-up, payment) from our servers, with your email in hashed form (to Meta only); we always tell Google whether you consented to advertising and, if you didn’t, Google doesn’t use that data for personalized advertising or remarketing.

3. Third-party cookies

  • Supabase: session cookies for sign-in
  • Stripe: cookies for secure payments
  • Vercel: technical cookies for performance
  • Meta Platforms: advertising pixel (_fbp, _fbc), only with your consent — Meta’s policy
  • Google: analytics with Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) and advertising with Google Ads (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw), only with your consent — Google’s policy

4. Managing cookies

On your first visit a small banner asks whether you accept Analytics and Advertising cookies: you can choose “Only necessary” or “Accept all”. Below you can choose them one by one and change your mind at any time (you get here from “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page). Refusing changes nothing in how the site works. Your choice lasts 6 months, then we ask again; if you are signed in we also save it to your account, so we don’t ask again on another browser or device. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings; switching off necessary cookies may stop the service from working.

5. How long cookies last

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser
  • Persistent cookies: stay on your device for a set period (up to 24 months for Google’s analytics cookies, 12 months for jobra_vid, 6 months for jobra_consent, up to 3 months for Meta’s and Google Ads’ advertising cookies, 30 days for jobra_utm) or until you delete them

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with the date of the last update.
